Sounds likee one of your memory modules is failing....since the computer is freezing while you are looking at the bios. I would try to isoltae which one is bad by trying them individually to see which one causes the hang up. Gardenz is right, I would look in your mobo manual and find out which pci slot is NOT shared and place the Audigy card in that one. Since you didn't list what psu you have, I hope you have a decent one, as it could be the root cause of all your woes as well.
