Well i figured out the flash is actually an orange light inside the ps2 that flashes to indicate that infromation is being transfered to or from a hard drive, or that a network adapter is connected properly. I also found that if you install a hard drive the fan works hardered. I really wish i could decrease the speed of that fan, its so annoying when it gets high, and it doesnt even need it.
