AEGIS Client API Suite, appears to be what your father has. I've never seen this before, but it appears the connection may be encrypted. I don't see anything special in the router you have, have you checked it's configuration? I'd start with no encryption, then work from there. What does your father say about all this?
You could try a wire to the router, it worked before.
