A bit of an update --

I had my computer on for a few minutes this morning, and nothing out of the ordinary occurred.
I just got home from work and turned my computer on, and I'm still getting the ewido message about that same infected file.
Also, I'm getting a partypoker.com shortcut on my desktop.
Applications are still switching away at random (and I just got a "yazifind.com" popup as I typed that).
Scans by AdAware-SE, Spybot, and Bazooka find absolutely nothing.
And finally, and this is completely new, the appearance of my desktop has changed from "Classic view" to the big blue "XP view" -- and I haven't touched that in a year or more.

It's getting worse! Agh! I must really be getting destroyed if I've got stuff messing with my desktop appearance.
