Got to work this morning and needed to reboot my computer. When I started up IE, guess what, no search menu!!!! I'm pretty sure I rebooted the other day after running thru the procedure a second time. Anyway, that balmbin executable was still there so I downloaded "Killbox" and ran thru the above instructions. After reboot, it not only removed the executable but a positive side effect was that it eliminated all the junk links from my "Favorites" list. GREAT!!!!
All appears to be well for now!!!
