Bouncing pings off multiple servers?
Is there a way to bounce a ping off a different server? I'm running a network, and I want to know if the upstairs computer [192.168.0.25] can see the internet. Instead of running upstairs, is there a way to for me to do something like this?
ping 192.168.0.25>google.com
To see if 0.25 can ping google, then send the results back to me? Are there any tools I can get for this, or is it impossible due to inherint security restrictions in computers? It would be interesting, for example, to ping yahoo.com from google.com and watch the response time.
Are things like this possible, or do all hosts block these things for security reasons? If not, is there a way to do it in windows? Or with a 3rd party utility?
Thanks. :)
