The stock fan you got with the CPU is generally OK. One of my service guys in the back is a "Cooling Fanatic". His AMD 2500 Barton core (with a FX6800 video) idles at 29c and hard core games in the high 30's and low 40's. He installs a side fan (standard case fan) right over the CPU, and installs another one on the front of the case. All these fans blow into the case, and all hot air exits through the power supply. The power supply's we use are all dual fan types, one sucking from the bottom, and one blowing out the rear of the case. The key is to get as much cool air into the case as possible. Keep at least 12 inches clearance around the case. Inspect and clean the fans often ... especially if the computer sits on the floor.
