Pseudo, personally, I dont like ICS. Had it before and for some reason, remote PC's just get disconnected. No errors pop up or any other symptoms, just quits. I tried to fiddle with it and I set it up numerous times without any luck. So I decided to download analog x proxy server.

Twas, proxy is just a server on your machine that routes all the requests from machines connected to it...basically its like a gateway. For example in analog x proxy, you can configure HTTP, SMTP, POP3 etc... look at the screenshot below..
