Depends on where you "heard" it from. If Asus says you can - then you probably can. But from experiences collected here on TSF over the course of the past months i must say people have problems with this setup from time to time - even though its supposed to work. Often the only way is to get at least a 20-24 pin converter if the PSU is powerful enough - or get a new PSU that supports the new standard.
