Well... the good news is that it isn't the signal strength. I brought my computer into the same room as the router, and the signal is booming! But I'm still getting the 'limited or no connectivity' message. I'm glad to finally be sure it is not signal
. But... then what is it. I don't know where to begin guessing. What could it be?
-The router is a Linksys WRT54g v.3.
-The wireless card is a Linksys WMP54G v.4
- I live in a house
-To my horror, their are 3! 2.4 Ghz phones in my house
-The adapter is PCI
-The equipment is 4 rooms apart, about 40ft
-The wireless adapter is in the PC
- The antennas are standing up vertically
-One side of the sheet metal case isn't installed, for cooling purposes
-There is another wireless network in the area detected, though the signal is just as weak
-It is set on channel 3.
