I cannot access any M'Soft url. That is Update/Media/Catalog, also same problem with Symantec. I was using Norton System Works, got a problem (virus- I guess) and couldn't get it to work and could not contact them. At the time I had service pack 2.0 loaded. I found Grisoft AVG thru Raging Bull PC Advice board. Downloaded it and uninstalled NSW. Over the course first two days of testing, AVG found the I-Worm bagel in twenty six files which are quarantined. It is only in the last two days that I found I colud not access any MS sites. Today with help I ran vcleaner.exe in safe mode. Did not help. I am on DSL and called my service provider but they claim there is nothing in their firewall that would block anything. I also have used Firefox and upgraded to 1.03 But just yesterday quit that. I have reloaded F'fox 1.02 but am told to use IE only til problem is solved. Sorry for such a long post but I am not familiar with this type thread. Any comments can be made by e-mail as well as here...OK with me. THANX!
