Wireless not working on 1 of 6 laptops
I've had a look around the forum and I couldnt find a solution for this.
I am attempting to connect to a wireless network. When my laptop is set to "obtain an ip address automatically," the network has "limited or no connectivity." When attempting to repair the network, it gave the error of been "unable to renew my ip address."
As there are other computers connected to the wireless network (5 others) which all work fine, I chose to set the ip address manually, using details retrieved from one of the other computers. After entering these details (Ip Address, DNS server etc), my laptop connects to the wireless network but when attempting to go online I get the error "Internet explorer cannot display the webpage."
Using the replies from other threads in this forum I have tried solving this problem but I havent got anywhere.
Now for some results....
Here is the ipconfig /all when set to automatically obtain an ip address:

C:\Users\Joe>
From this I got the ip address, default gateway, DNS Server and Wins Servers. I have tried a few different ip addresses all with the same result.
I have then tried using the automated winsock fix for xp as well as doing it manually in cmd using "netsh winsock reset catalog" and "netsh int ip reset reset.log" but the problem still persists.
Just as additional information, as you can probably see, my Laptop is running xp whereas my friends laptop is running vista. There other laptops which work on the network are running a mixture of xp and vista.
I hope I have supplied enough information for you to help me.
Many Thanks.
