Did you register your Windows XP online? Is this a legitimate/authentic Windows XP CD? Try registering again and see if it comes back asking again in the next 30 days. If it does and this is a legitimate copy of XP, I would call up Microsoft and ask them what's wrong.
Your log is clean. If you disabled System Restore, make sure to enable it now.
