Check the numbers on the CPU. They will tell you the speed, cache memory size and the FSB speed. On Slot1 its on the edge of the CPU and on socket 370 it will be right below the die. Plus it will tell you if it is a PII or PIII.
You may have to go into the BIOS and manually configure the speed.
