raid 0 will definatly make a difference. I have upgraded my ram to low latency, upgraded my processor, and graphics card. And I have a raid 0 array.
I can tell you the only one that I really noticed in real life (vs. Benchmarks) is the raid array. This is the first thing I would recommend to boost system performance. If your board will support it.
