acturally wattage not what you should look for when you looking at a PSU. Mainly with today computers you should look at the amps on the 12V line. Why because if 400 of your 500 watts going to 3v and 5v it not going to power your computer well at all. If the amps high enough on the 12V automatcally it will be getting enough wattage. generally speaking for a midrange computer you want at least 24A. More like in the 30's if you using something like a 6800 ultra or a SLI setup.
