HTTP 404 Error OWA SBS 2003

Hi,

When users logon to owa they can read email fine ( message body appears normal) in owa but when they try to create a new message or forward a message they get a http 404 error where the body of the message should be( side menu with folders appears fine), then if you try to send it the whole page displays http 404. I have done a few hours of research on this and it appears i may need to reset iis virtual directories for the default website which there is much information about. The only problem is that they refer to metabase explorer which all sites link but its no longer current. Firstly can some one please clarify if i do in deed need to reset virtual directories and if so how can i get metabase explorer. I have tried accessing owa with an administrator account and it does exactly the same. Your suggestions would be appreciated
