Thank you : Prometheus_Fire and HussainU, sorry about the slow reply to your answers, I've had the man flu and you know nasty that can be, I'm not being even close to being a GODs toe nail when it comes to computers but here goes,

Firstly I should of made it clear that my computer was at the main office and worked fine from there when accessing it from home, it was only after my office computer was moved across town that I could no longer access my office computer from home

Our server has a public ip as this is how we had a working system that had no problems before the move. I think.

Not 100% of what you mean an not up with things hence the asking for help.
