It Will Work.
Login to the a.p and match the wireless settings of the router with the A.P.
Under The A.p Mode Select the mode as Access Point Clint And need to give the wireless mac address of the router.u can use Your A.P As A wireless adopter trough a Ethernet connection.

Can U give me the model number of the router..
