-I installed win update 3. The it started to install audio but then this poped up "cannot start this hardware. there was a problem installing this hardware: IDT High Definition Audio CODEC. This device cannot start. (Code 10)
What do I do now?

-IDT High Definition Audio CODEC-had yellow '!' icon, reinstalled it and nothing, adio codecs, ;egacy video capture devices, media control devices, vedio codecs.

-there is also a category called 'other devices' that has the yellow '!' now too.
modem device on high definition audio bus, sm bus controller, video controller, video controller(vga compatible)

-downloaded and tried to install it from the web. now it says '_exiterror: error=device object not present, restart the system and run setup again'
