Re: win2k after HD replacement
I've run Everest and I'm not sure what all of the information is but quite a few of the drivers are marked as stopped in system drivers. There is a list of IPxxx files, 3 out of 4 of them are stopped, as well as file ipsraidn being stopped.
Is this something I can change? and is it what is blocking me from getting online with my ethernet cable? I'm pretty sure if I got online I could solve the whole issue with software by going to Intel or HP. As it is I am downloading to a flash drive and transferring
The list as in Everest Ultimate Edition (trial version) under System Drivers;
File Version
ipfltdrv.sys 5.0.2168.1 stopped
ipinip.sys 5.0.2168.1 stopped
ipnat.sys 5.0.2195.6616 stopped
ipsec.sys 5.0.2195.6655 running
ipsraidn stopped
There is a lot more information on the scan, but the system is at 640X480 and I can't get it on one page which makes it hard for me to see it all.
There was also something else that was weird I just tried to load a BIOS update from the Intel website and I got this error message; This program is unable to continue. The system you are trying to update is not based on an Intel motherboard. I chose update D815EGEW.
The intel identification utility says it is an 815 chipset, and the Everest software also says this.
