I just moved and am trying have installed D-Link AirPlus G Wireless PCI adapter DWL-G510 into an e-machine W2260 AMD Athlon XP 2200+ 1.79 Ghz 992 MB ram desktop. I followed directions for installation and the computer recognizes the new hardware but the hardware does not see any available networks. I am writing this from a laptop in the same room as the computer in question. The laptop is connected to the internet via my homes wireless which lets me know that there is not a problem with my connection. I have tried having the computer in question look for available networks but it still doesn't see any. The power light is visible on the adapter and it keeps switching between the power and data lights on the adapter. Any ideas?
