Desktop has been hijacked

The desktop reads: Warning! You're in danger! Your computer is infected with spyware! All you do with your computer is stored forever in your hard disk..."

Is it possible to clean this? I downloaded and was running/scanning with malware bytes and then the computer rebooted. Now, none of my anti malware software will run (malware bytes; spybot search and destroy)

I am also having a problem getting into safe mode. It seems to have something to do with this:

I cannot uninstall dameon tools so I found sptd.sys and renamed it. The last thing that it loads is MUP.sys, so maybe it is hanging on that?
