How do I know if I have AMD or Intel processor?

Hello everyone,

How do I know if I have an AMD or Intel processor in my HP Pavilion dv2000?

I am trying to update my BIOS on the HP website to prevent this laptop from frying from overheating like my HP Compaq Presario V6000 did, and the website has three different BIOS updates:

» WinFlash for HP Notebook System BIOS (for Notebooks with AMD Processors) - Microsoft Windows/Vista-Based
05-2009 F.3D » Version: 4.08M
» WinFlash for HP Notebook System BIOS (for Notebooks with Intel Processors) - Microsoft Windows/Vista-Based
09-2007 F.39 » Version: 3.79M
» WinFlash for HP Notebook System BIOS (for Notebooks with Intel Processors) - Microsoft Windows/Vista-Based

Thanks, and please be sure to install this update if you have an HP laptop! They are basically hard-wired to fail due to build defects (the fan I guess), and I already lost $1800 from it. They WILL NOT tell you about this on their own, and expect you to accidentally find out about it on their website. My Presario died 13 months after purchase, and since I did not find out it was a known defect of theirs until 26 months later, they expect me to eat the money!! AND the laptop I bought to replace the other one ALSO has the same problem! Grr!!
