Hi, I've registered here in the hope sombody can help me with this internet connection problem.

Last week my cable modem kept losing connection every now and then, I assumed it was an ISP problem but as I was moving I never bothered to chase them up.

Well now I've moved and the same thing is happining, I have a different ISP, different modem, different cable but its losing connection every 5-10 mins and is obviously a problem on my PCs side.

I've tried unistalling and reinstalling the driver and its made no difference, the only way I can get it to reconnect is by using the network diagnostics tool via IE 8 when it goes down, I use Firefox but I'm having to keep IE open soley to use this.

Can anybody help??
