Re: Multiple Driver Issue messing with display
Try going to your laptop's manufacturer website and see if you can get the latest driver from there and it seems like your laptop might of came with some sort of software to control your graphics properties and MS update could have just disabled it on startup.
Click start>run then type msconfig and check the startup tab to see if the software for your graphics is starting up with your PC.
