K i am having a very weird problem with my drive. it started about a week or so ago when it suddenly decided not to read one of my game disks anymore. thinking that something may be wrong with the disk i ignored it.

a couple of days ago, i noticed that it wasn't reading a few more game disks when i was trying to install a couple of them. finaly, yesturday, i noticed that it will not read any disk that i have with me except one. I have one game that it will read and no other games or data disks will read in it.

i alread attempeted to uninstall and reinstall drivers for it. updated everything on my computer, and a couple of other things i cant remember. i was thinking of reformating my drive and starting over, but i am affaid my recovery disk might not read after i do it........

any ideas???
