Why would the customer need to repeatedly reset to factory defaults?
Anyway, I'm assuming that you're working with Cisco kit; you could try port forwarding and NAT, but you would need a second network interface on the DSLAM as the switchports you'll be connecting to will most likely just be access ports and as such only able to pass traffic from one subnet.
Alternatively, you could define a VLAN for the subnet the 192.160.16.50 address is on on your access router and trunk it through to your switch. Then all you'd need to do to is to remotely change the switchport to access that VLAN if the customer reset the DSLAM.
Also, when I mentioned boundaries, I was referring to bit boundaries and subnetting, not DHCP or static addressing.
