Another Google Redirect Problem...

Yup, I know we've all seen these before, but nothing I do seems to help.
So, the old story: I click on a link on Google Search, which then redirects through a number of IP addresses and ten-a-penny search websites, before landing me at another search-helper website or sometimes random sites like MySpace, eBay and so on.

I have tried scanning my system with Spybot S&D, but whenever I open it, it appears in the process list but the UI does not appear at all. However, S&D-related programs, such as TeaTimer function perfectly well. Malwarebytes Anti-Malware runs for a fraction of a second before closing down again. McAfee blue-screens after a few seconds of scanning. Windows Defender just seems to be a waste of space. Also, some programs' updaters seem to be blocked.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
icemclean.

PS - if you need anything to be attached in future posts, just mention it and I'll track it down.
