im experiencing the same trouble as you. my laptop has node type hybrid and my desktop also has node type hybrid so im tipping that your node type may not be the trouble at all but something else.
i discovered this problem recently when my shared printer stopped working at the laptop. it used to work for months and months but now its just being a swine.
