Hello, I'm having a problem with playing an online game, Final Fantasy XI. I used to have it on this same computer, using the same router and ISP, but I uninstalled it and didn't play for almost a year, and now when I reinstall it, it isn't working. It won't connect to the internet even though the internet is working fine. I went through a lot of troubleshooting involving their support team, and they suggest it was a portforwarding problem.
I went to its site and it says:
Port numbers that may be used by the PlayOnline server group.
TCP 25.80.110.443 or 50000 - 65535
UDP 50000 - 65535
I followed the guide:
http://www.portforward.com/english/r...sy_XI_-_PC.htm
Except for the very last thing, because FFXI has a port at 65535, but the maximum in the window says 65534. I downloaded the portforward portchecker program from the site, and all of FFXI's ports work except port 80 on TCP and 65535 on both TCP and UDP.
I don't know why port 80 isnt working, and I figure 65535 isn't working because I couldn't open it.
If you need screenshots of any page from the router just say so.
And I also tried this on a seperate computer under the same router, it had the same problem but I didn't try opening the ports for it.
I'm really hoping I don't have to call the ISP, because they are Korean, and I don't speak Korean, so it'd be kind of hard to explain, and I wouldn't even know what to ask.
Thanks for any help you can give me!
