Running sfc now.
When I tried to run memtest (not on a CD) it gave me an error about it not being able to work on vista 64. That didn't sound right, so will the problem repeat itself with an .iso?
And to verify the last part: would an overheating GPU cause the black screen? I wasn't sure if it was jsut hot (I know these are -supposed- to run how) or if it was defective.
