For when I said a particular test came back as failed above, I thought that it was the drive that i was talking about, but that was just the drive of the other compuer. My mistake. The other stuff I said was for the problematic hdd though.

Ok, the model number is ST310005N1A1AS barracuda internal hard drive upgrade kit. As of now, seatools cant read it. all the info is blank. Same with that tool. It sounds normal and it is not hot. Im going to install it on the inside real quick to see if i get anything different.....brb
