Please respond to all the following steps.
  1. Under Network adapters, please tell me all the devices listed.
  2. Are there any devices under Network adapters that have a red x displayed?
  3. Also, are there any devices anywhere in the Device Manager display with yellow ? or ! displayed?
I went into the device manager. Under network adapters there is 1394 Net adapter which does have a red "X", but before there was never an X there. Ive installed and un-installed so many drivers its not funny And also under network adapters there is a broadcom 440x 10/100 integrated controller. there is nothing next to that.

So does that mean that i need to install a driver for the 1394 net adapter? i dont mean to sound stupid, but what is a 1394 net adapter in general? is that for wireless? sorry again..dont mean to sound stupid.. also, by the way, there is no computer icon for the wireless in the task bar thing, but there is one for the local area connection. also, when i go into control panel, there is a thing for true mobile wireless utility but when i click on it it brings up wireless configuratioin but there are no adapters in it. any thoughts?

again thanks alot and please help me lol.

thanks
