Bluescreens, a variety of them.

Hello,

Since most of the stuff I've googled that led to here hasn't solved the problem yet, I've decided to sign up and see if I can take it to the next level.

It's been a month and a half of daily BSOD's, which occur seemingly at random, over the course of the day. I don't think I've had any occur while I'm on my desktop. I have had them while browsing, watching videos, playing games.

My PC:
Acer Aspire desktop
E4600 Core 2 Duo processor
3GB of DDR2
500GB of SATA hard disk
nVidia GeForce 8600GS graphics card
Vista Home Premium.

The BSOD errors I have recieved (I haven't had time to write these down so I don't have the parameters):

0x0000008e
0x0000007e
0x00000024
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
0x000000D
0x000000A

Files that have been listed:
WIN32k.sys
nvlddmkm.sys
dxgkrnl.sys

I've also had a couple of errors missing a listed file or an error code, and some which just go straight to reboot without showing a bluescreen error.

I tried updating my graphics drivers already, opening up the cover for better air circulation, as well as running antivirus programs, and a registry cleaner.

Any help, even just identifying a common cause of all the errors would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,
Pring.

PS, will try to provide any additional information if required.
