Thanks for the rapid reply. However, I cannot get into the BIOS, since the mobo doesn't continue one bit beyond the beeping and the "system failed memory test".

I have already tested the memory with memtest on another computer.

Furthermore, after reading on another forum I kept the CMOS reset overnight, in somewhat of a last ditch effort. This didn't help either.

Good ideas anyone?
