I'd just like to say that this site looks wonderful from what I've seen so far.

I'm building a new computer and I'd like a second opinion before I order everything.

Budget: No more than $600, I'm kinda tight on money right now, but I've got a few components already that should save me a few bucks. If I need to, I can go a little bit over.

Brands: Not really any preferences, Intel is always best imo.

Multitasking: Yes, web browsing, office, music, video, CD/DVD burning, video converting, etc.

Gaming: For the most part, no.

Calculations: Some video rendering and converting.

Overclocking: Not at all.

Storage: 500 GB is good since I have a couple externals.

Legacy Support: No.

Operating System: Vista Ultimate x64 most likely. I also have Vista x86 and XP so anything is an option.

Case: Doesn't matter as long as it looks decent and everything fits well.

Accessories: No.

Recycled Components: Mouse, Keyboard, 640 GB External Hard Drive, External CD/DVD burner, Operating System

Monitor: Already own 19" LCD

Stores: Newegg is my favorite, but anything is an option really.

Location: Northeast USA
