I have an Asus a8n sli deluxe (nforce4). The onboard sound worked fine until today when I moved house and starting using a USB wireless network adapter.
I now no longer have my usual audio device in device manager, but an "unknown device" that refuses to accept any audio driver I throw at it. Of course my sound setup in control panel tells me there is no audio device. I even reformatted and still have the same problem. Help!
I'm using windows XP SP2.
