I'm having a problem with my Simpletech 500 GB External Hard Drive. A few days ago I was using it and it was working fine, but then I accidentally pulled on the cord and it dropped a few inches from the bottem of my desk to the floor while it was on. Now it has stopped working. When I turn the HD on, the red power light comes on and the blue lights on top will also come on. But right away there are a series of tones that will last a few seconds then nothing happens. The power light is still on, but the blue lights are no longer on.

Could someone please help me? I have irreplaceable documents and pictures on this HD.
