Re: BSODs, Slow boot, random lockups
I have the CORSAIR XMS2 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TWIN2X4096-8500C7 - Retail version of the RAM. I do not have the dominator series. I did not modify any voltages, I will go and attempt that now to see if that fixes it. Would that be something that would take some time to develop into a problem? I have been using the machine with no problems for a few months until recently.
*edit* I put the voltage to 2.0, and the timings to 7-7-7-20, which is what it said was standard for my model of ram on that link you posted. It did seem to boot a little faster, but still not instant like it used to. I will run prime95 while I sleep and see if it crashes at all.
