crazy ipod thought
ok, I have an ipod nano first gen, love how it looks, don't like the newer ones.
Being the first gen nano its the oldest and most outdated. (memory, battery life, screen)
What my thought is, If i can get a used second gen nano, could I switch the cases.
The screens are the same size, the switches, and ports seem to be in the same spots.
What this really comes down to is the board itself. how much of a difference is there. Is there a difference at all in the size of the board.
If the board is a little smaller that might work, little bigger then that really depends on the how much bigger and if i could trim the boardat all.
I wouldn't care about the mounting screws, I would figure some other way to put in the case if i had to.
Before I go spend the money for the second gen, would this work? has anyone done it, those types of questions.
If I found a second gen cheap enough I would just get it, I know someone looking for an ipod anyway.
Other questions would be, could I use the same clickwheel that my first gen has or must i use the second gen (rather first gen to keep the look).
Anyone have any thoughts? and sorry for the rambling type of talking here.
