Hello Timneedshelp
I`m sorry, but we cannot help you with malware removal in this forum.
Please read
“Virus/Trojan/Spyware Removal Help “ and follow the instructions very carefully; then, post all the requested logs and information in the
Virus Help Forum
If you cannot complete any step, just miss it out and do what you can, but be sure to include this information in your post.
Please ensure that you create a new thread in the Virus Help Forum; not back here in this one.
Please be patient, as the Security Team Analysts are usually very busy; one of them will answer your request as soon as they can.
If the problem persists after that I think you need to check the hard drive
First, back up all your important files
Then
Start/Run and type in
cmd
OK
When the command window opens at the prompt type
chkdsk /r (there is a space before /)
Enter
Reboot and chkdsk will run.
Be prepared for this to take hours if chkdsk actually finds any problems and tries to fix them.
