Hi -

That guide above was if you had extentions, which.. I'm sure you do, everyone does. If you do or don't, please tell me if you atleast see the "extension" folder, where you're then suppose to see all the long, strange, random character folders.

I am trying to determine if it's a plugin/extension problem (since, most of the time it is). Try running firefox in Safe Mode (I don't mean rebooting your computer or anything, Firefox has it's own "Safe Mode" you can use, if you're unaware of how to run it or have no clue what I'm talking about try this guide).

You'll notice you can't just "run" it, you have to tick some checkboxes, so you'll get this prompt:



Please, tick ALL of the checkboxes.

You mentioned how you didn't get internet while running Windows Safe Mode - this is completely normal, it's actually designed to disable it. Although, if you're able to see Firefox's GUI, then I highly believe this is an add-on/extention problem.
