Confused File Server Permission Problem... Please help!

Ok new to the forum and desperate for some help with this.

I have a server running windows server 2008. Basically I have it set up so that me and my buddies can watch movies off of it. I have the file server role installed but Im having some problems with the permissions on the shares. Heres the problem:

I have a 2tb hard drive that I use to put all my movies on. its set up like this:
\\192.168.32.18\X
X being the Main share folder

i also have another share under \x (\\192.168.32.18\X\Movies) where the movies are stored.

These are how the permissions are set up right now...
X - Administrator = Owner
Everyone = Reader
X\Movies - Administrator = Owner
Everyone = Reader

I want to add a share under X like \\192.168.32.18\X\Temp where my buddies can upload movies (I will make a file screen so that the movies are zipped for security purposes) and then I will inspect the file and put it into the Movies folder. I want the permissions to be as follows:
X\Temp - Administrator = Owner
Everyone = Contributors

I tried setting it up this way and my buddy couldnt put his movie into the temp folder. I figured out it was because the permissions on X were over riding the permissions for him to be able to write/put his zipped movie to Temp.

Question?Is there any way that you can have a sub folder have separate permissions from its parent folder? If not, how would I go about setting this up?

I dont want to set it up like \\192.168.32.18\ because I have hidden shares created and Id rather tell people to make a shortcut on their desktop to \\192.168.32.18\X. Plus it looks nicer to the user when you go to \\192.168.32.18\X because if you just use the IP address alone with out the share you get the printers stuff.

Or maybe theres a way to redirect traffic from \\192.168.32.18\ to \\192.168.32.18\X? For example you would type in \\192.168.32.18 and be automatically directed/forwarded to \\192.168.32.18\X

Sorry if this is a little confusing but I would really appreciate it if somebody could help me out with these stupid permissions!
