Upgrading old PC

Hi all,
Need a little bit of help here, wondering whether its possible to upgrade my Packard Bell 5053 (imedia i think) to a relatively good gaming pc. Would i be able to do this with just a few parts or would replacing the whole PC make more sense?
Here are the Specs that i know of
- 2.00ghz celeron processor
- 738mb DDR RAM
- 160gb 7200rpm SATA HDD
As i said i dont know much about the rest of it but i know its rubbish haha.
Basically what i was hoping i could do was to upgrade in steps eventually replacing the whole pc with modern parts. Would this be possible and if so could you write me a rough order of which parts to replace first.

Thanks
Chris
