Re: Changed IP --> Cannot access internet

Not quite, but I got some different results. Let me make sure you know this is from the SECOND time I tried (after rebooting): this was run as an administrator.

Microsoft Windows [Version 6.0.6001]
Copyright (c) 2006 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

C:\Windows\system32>netsh winsock reset catalog
The system cannot find the file specified.

C:\Windows\system32>netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log
Reseting Echo Request, failed.
Access is denied.

Reseting Interface, OK!
A reboot is required to complete this action.

C:\Windows\system32>netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log
Reseting Echo Request, failed.
Access is denied.

There's no user specified settings to be reset.

The first time had a bunch of Ok's for the second and third commands, which gave me some hope. I feel like I'm really close here, johnwill. I saw a lot of your other posts on this general subject and It really seems like you know a lot, so I'm counting on you! Also, what is the correct stack reset?
