400 to 500 FPS isn't impossible - if you have the right gear and/or are playing a not-too-demanding game. However, I highly doubt that your system would get 400 - 500 FPS.
RockmasteR is right when he says that above 60 FPS is meaningless, because at 60 FPS, the image is smooth and you can't discern the difference between 60 FPS and 50,000 FPS.
