My System

Re: Massive slowdown on Oblvion.

Your temperatures look fine, but your voltages are not. Please download Everest and SensorsView (in my signature) and use them to check the temps and voltages - see if they match the ones SIW reports. Specifically, the screenshot you posted has the +12V sitting at 8.58V!! Voltages are allowed to be +/- 5% at most, which means the +12V can be between 11.4V and 12.6V. If your +12V is actually at 8.58V, then you already have a serious problem there, and you cannot wait to replace the PSU.

So, check the temps and voltages reported by Everest and SensorsView, and then also check them in the BIOS (tap Delete while the system is starting, and locate the "PC Health Status" or similar section). Post them all here for us.
