Hi folks !

I'm running Ubuntu 9.04 on my system and were playing sound files over winamp, which I run over Wine 1.1.23. Everything was fine until one day I got a message, which told me:

"Bad direct sound driver. Please install proper drivers or select another device in configuration.
Error code 8878000A"

I already looked for a solution in this forum but didn't find anything, that worked. That's quite frustrating because it affects every sound from my notebook, meaning:"My notebook is silent !"

As a consequence I'm now asking, if anybody can please help me.
