NEW MEMBER~I cannot connect to the internet

I currently have a motorola modem and a Linksys router. I operate a wireless card on my laptop (internet works fine) and also a Linksys Wireless-G card on my Desktop HP pavillion (INTERNET NOT WORKING) and a DELL desktop, in which the modem and router are physically hooked up to. I've tried using the winsockxpfix.exe option and it still is not working. I have tried unplugging all cords from modem and router then re-connecting them and still the internet does not work on my HP pavillion Desktop. Please help. This is driving me crazy. I am by no means a tech wizard, but I consider myself to be pretty self sufficient. The computer seems to be acquiring network address for a longer than normal time. Then it displays "limited to no connectivity". Please help!
